This product is complete garbage. The microphones give off a loud buzzing sound, with a scratchy distortion to your voice.
I have a PS3, and I tried every possible combination of batteries, USB ports, location of receiver and microphone, and it never got better.
The sound was just as terrible with the cord plugged in!
I was excited to get a pair of wireless mics for RockBand and SingStar. Now I am going to be out the shipping and restocking fees to return these (almost not worth the return!)
SAVE YOUR MONEY! Do not buy these microphones--save up for a pair of SingStar mics, or a high-quality Logitech mic.
Even though the product is garbage, the price was terrific at HandHeldItems, and the shipping was exactly as expected.

The price on HandHeldItems for this product is really good compared to other vendors; however, the product itself is garbage (at least the wireless component). At least you can connect it with a wire as an alternative.
The microphone guzzles AA batteries, has an extremly useless wifi connection with way too much static, and is misleading because wii users cannot use both microphones at the same time (the unit just does not recognize the second mic...it even says int he instruction sheet that comes with the product that only a single microphone can be connected at once for most 2-player games for the Wii)
