The UV Tracker was actually made for the specialized purpose of locating cat and dog urine and verify it has been completely removed. However, as a true 385 nm ultraviolet light, it is great wherever you need a true UV LED. Although all purple "blacklights" have UV qualities to them which allow UV-reactive items to glow under exposure, the UV Tracker concentrates on the true ultraviolet rather than visible light spectrum. This means the UV Tracker will have less bright visible light than LED blacklights, as the UV wavelengths are not visible to the human eye. The UV Tracker is best for pinpoint close-up use, as it does not project a broad beam. Replaceable long-life button-cell batteries are included.

Warning: Never look directly at the light. UV can cause serious eye damage. This is not a toy and should not be used by children.
