I too bought an extended battery for my htc touch phone (sprint cdma) and the door that came with the battery did not fit. It's the gsma version. That battery door with the slightest push upward would come off. I ordered this one and without putting the new battery in it fit perfectly. After messing with it, it finally fit and is flush like the original cover.

Yes it's grey, but looking at it, it goes nice with the metal lining and the black. It feels good too. Don't second guess this. If you have a sprint touch or an htc cdma version, this is the cover you will need for an extended battery. Also you can't beat the price.

I bought a extended battery for my HTC Touch and the door that came with it did not fix very well. I bought this door and it fixes perfectly. Only issue is my phone is black and this door is grey. Not a big deal to me.
