The L3 / Thermal-Eye X100XP Thermal Imaging Camera (X100XP) sets the standard for small, lightweight thermal imaging cameras, and is the most affordable handheld thermal imager available. This thermal imager greatly improves vision in challenging field conditions such as dust, smoke and complete darkness and is useful for a variety of applications, including target detection, force protection, routine patrols, search and rescue, disturbed surface/IED detection, covert surveillance, fugitive pursuit and soldier and officer safety.
The X100XP is designed to be both rugged and durable, and its compact size makes it easy to stow into a pocket for quick extraction in the field and on the run. This thermal device is easy to use and operate, and features a covert eye cup and variable display brightness for the best possible image.
Unlike traditional night vision technology, the image done by L3-Thermal-Eye X100XP is unaffected by bright lights, glare or shadows, making it an extremely useful piece of nighttime surveillance equipment. Battle-tested in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the L3 X100xp is perfect for numerous surveillance applications, including public safety, military and security operations.
