This is a good enough set up, but the grey/blue background is not nearly as useful as a black/white one would be. It\'s good that it all folds up in a convenient case.
I do not like the flimsy lights though. They are cheaply made and top heavy. The bulbs get VERY hot and are heavier than the base, so there is a good chance they will certainly fall over and the bulb will blow, leaving you with trying to find an expensive and hard to find replacement. They get so hot, you can smell the plastic hood around them melting and burning and there is no way to reposition them after they get so hot because you cannot touch the top of them.

Item would work fine, but ...
Backdrop unusable due to mfg. defect.White streak on ble backdrop.
Too much trouble/cost for value if must incur cost for defective item.

I have been working at photo studio for over 10 years now and this is one of the best price and best portable studio for small objects. The carry case is so useful that makes me carry this with me all the time, when i go work on products photo.
