The E-Q is a shirt with a built in sound sensitive spectrum analyzer. As the music beats, the equalizer moves to the beat of the music! Each frequency of music will activate a different equalizer bar, just like the equalizer on your stereo at home! It’s a must have accessory for all concerts, parties or even raves! It has a fully functional Electro Luminescence panel with a battery pack that snuggles discretely into a pocket inside the T-shirt. The end result is a tremendous sound sensitive music T-Shirt that commands attention!

First off the shirt was made of nice feeling material and the LED's lit up as expected just fine.

I wore it to a concert one night and needed to wash it as a result of normal wear. I removed the control box and ribbon cable from the non-keyed Molex connector and removed the batteries. I also used a small balloon to cover the open Molex connector' send that is attached to the shirt. I then washed the shirt in cold water on gentle cycle and dried with minimum heat on gentle cycle as well.

That's where the fun stopped. After the shirt dried I reassembled everything and even installed fresh batteries. The most the LED's were the first two rows of green set on maximum sensitivity. I played music with lots of midrange through my stereo at 107db (@3ft. from speaker) and the LED's would NOT go above 3 rows of green.

Despite previous reviews, there ARE washing instructions on the shirt but the tag is not on the neck but on the inner seam near the waist.

Now awaiting for my RMA number we'll see how long that takes.

very nice product...everybody wanted to know where I purchased it...the only problem was there ws no information included with the shirt to say how to wash the shirt...I even emailed HandHelditems and requested some info or care instructions on how to clean...NO RESPONSE. Other than that, the product has drawn alot of attention.
