I am concerned about washing this shirt. It has a set of wires connected to the EQ, runs to a cotton sleeve that you install 4 AAA batteries in. You have to remove the batteries before hand washing; then what about the wires getting wet; possibly rusting over time? Maybe good to wear to a concert or party; that's about it. It's useless in daytime light. How long do the batteries last for? It should have come with a disconnect point so that you could easily separate the battery compartment & wires from the shirt.

Great item, works well, but sizing is small. An 'extra large' fits like a 'large.' Adjust your size choice accordingly.

The audio pick-up mic has an adjustable gain although it is still not enough range therefore the mic only pics up VERY loud sound. Expect to get very little results unless you are at \"yell at each other\" sound levels.
This would be a great product if it had a better pick-up for audio... right now it\'s just a great disappointment.

Product arrived on time, and it works as i had anticipated, as the other reviewer stated it doesnt respond to frequencies as a real EQ would, but it responds to volume, and each bar is set to cap out as most equalizers would.
Only bad thing is that it was shipped in an envelope, and the EL Panel was creased and the plastic clouds when this happens, so some of the bars are blocked out.
I wore it to the club and 90% of the peopl there were looking at me and most of them were asking me about it, drunkly high-fiving me etc.
Damaged panel just sucks :(

The shirt is kinda hard to see in the daylight and is un comfortable. the lights do react to sound but the frequencies are not correct( a high pitch sound has the same effect as a low pitch sound)
