I found the unit to be quite bright and easy to align. I also used a Sightmark 45 ACP Pistol Laser BoreSight to align it to without firing a shot. At 50' I only had to make about a 1/2 turn on the up/down screw to get a good grouping. My only problem is the Weaver mount tends to slide forward after about 20 rounds on the Picatinny Rail of my Taurus 24/7 OSS.
