Trademark has always been a big deal for companies, in Korea, trademark is operated differently then the US. The manufacturer would have to acquire two trademarks for hardware and software separately. Verizon just announced today that they will be implementing their 4G network this year and is planning on completely switching over by the end of 2010. They recently tested the speeds of the 4g network and found that it is significantly faster than their 3G network. Verizon has been testing their 4G LTE network; testing took place in Boston and Seattle and they indicated that the network is capable of peak download speeds of 40 to 50 megabits per second (Mbps) and peak upload speeds of 20 to 25 Mbps.
