| This Kindle Fire case works very well for its intended purpose. It provides excellent protection, and easily props the Fire up either vertically or horizontally, as promised. It seems to be very well made, and is exactly as it is described from this seller. Only one small aspect would make this case perfect- it lacks a pocket for a stylus, which we have decided to use with our Fire. We have solved this by using the stylus' clip and sliding it over the part of the case which folds to enable the Fire to be propped up, but since this is on the outside of the case, it is far from being a perfect solution. Redesign this with a small pocket for a stylus, and it would be perfect. |

| Over all for the price you can't beat this case. The color is true to the picture, it holds the Fire well, it stays closed in my purse and I like the propping options. There was one little spot where there was something sticking out of it and where the material didn't quite cover. A quick snip and some glue it it looks fine. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the smell. It has a HUGE chemical smell to it. First I thought it was just the Styrofoam inside it to keep it's shape but even after removing that, it still smells, to the point that I couldn't leave my Fire by my beside. I currently have it sitting in the sun with some baking soda around it hoping to speed the "off gassing" process because as it is, I can't use the case because of the smell. Everyone around me has noticed it.... |
