If all you want is cheap, basic functionality, it's OK, but I would not recommend this product. (And if you actually pay $39.99 like they suggest, you would have been totally ripped-off. Only buy this if you can get it for $10 or less.)
THE GOOD
The clip is well designed and works well. It's back-lit so you can see what you are doing in the dark. (You'll need this! See below.) It has a radio.
THE BAD
Quality - Poor
Feels very cheap so I suspect it will break soon. The plastic front is already coming loose after only 2 months of use.
Design - Poor
Because the front is totally flat and the buttons very close, you can't feel which button you are hitting. That means I often hit the wrong button. If I'm listening to a podcast and I accidentally hit forward or back, the iPod stops playing, and then defaults to playing music when I hit play again. So I have to get the iPod out of my pocket and manually navigate back to where I was. This defeats the purpose of having a remote and is very irritating. If it had raised buttons, this wouldn't be an issue. Because it's totally flat, you must look at it and be very precise when adjusting the volume or hitting pause.
Sound - Poor
Poor sound: I tested sound quality with and without the remote. It pushes everything in to the midrange. This is fine for podcasts (talk radio), which is what I usually listen to, but it's poor sound for music.
