The holder does not truly fit an iPhone. The velcro tab has to be pulled extremely tight to just barely engage. Since my phone has a neoprene skin on it already, it fits tightly in the pouch and I tucked the tab behind. iPhone is staying put in the pouch because of the tight fit and seems secure. No access to music controls -- except volume using the side buttons. Armband is good. An decent solution given the reasonable price and the fact that I don't have to take the regular skin off to use it.
