Works just like the original. This one has a fan inside to keep it cool not sure if the original has the same, but works just as good. A little noisy, but you can't hear it if your playing the games. First one sent to me was bad so I had to use my own money to send back and get a replacement. If you buy one make sure to ask them to test before sending
