I live in a remote rural offshore location and it is often hard to find companies who are willing to ship things that are needed but HandHeldItems worked with me to help me order just what I needed. I received my order in record time, the lamps arrived in perfect condition. The lamps are color corrected and an excellent and economical choice for photo studio lighting. I was very pleased dealing with HandHeldItems employees and when I need more, this is the place I will order from.

This is a suitable replacement for the bulbs that came in my Lowel Ego Light (a sort of studio light that uses two of these behind a diffuser) at a third of the price. I haven't hit it with a photospectrometer but with one of each in a fixture I can't tell which is which.

I am an artist and use it to replace daylight for night painting. The colors I paint on my canvas at night look the same the next day. So I like this bulb.

Lighting seems to be mediocre, I was expecting more "light" from this bulb but it was the only one sold that fits the lighting system I bought.

Great service and product. Works perfect for company product photo shoots. Would definitely buy from this vendor again.

Can\'t say whether the bulb is any good or not because it doesn\'t fit in my standard hot light reflector. I bought it as a replacement for the traditional-but-fragile incandescent photo-bulbs but the base of this bulb (the white plastic part just above the aluminum screw-in mount) is too wide for the reflector (Smith-Victor 12 inch model) and doesn\'t screw in far enough to make the electrical contract. Shame on me for not anticipating this limitation before I purchased it but, combined with the previous reviewer\'s comments, this product seems to have pretty limited applications.

We use this bulb in our walk-in closet. Finally, we're able to tell the difference between navy and black clothes easily. The bulb didn't fit inside the ceiling fixture glass enclosure (this bulb longer than an incandescent bulb), but color is truer with a naked bulb anyway.
