The Case it self is very sturdy, and made very well yes, but that's all the good i have to say about it.
It's very bulky, the keys are hard to press and get's annoying when trying to use your G1 as a GPS in your car. The track ball is almost useless as you can only select over 1 character at a time or move a little bit in google maps!
The way it clips on is a nice feature, but it slides up and off of the screen when you try and flip the screen up, as well it hits buttons on the keyboard when I flipped my screen open to type a message.
The charger is a pain to attach and forget trying to hook it up in your car just to give it a quick charge, if you have anything other than an HTC charger or very similar, it won't fit anymore.
Another downside is that you can see all the dirt on the phone (I have a white G1) thought it would look cool but ended up making my phone look used when i just got it the day before!
The HOLE in the back, I get it, it's for a belt clip attachment (sold seperately) but it lets in too much dirt! and if there's a hole there for it it should come with! If you're not going to provide me with the clip I'd rather have it not there as it's making my phone look bad.
All in all can be done better, using no case right now, and looking into getting a phantom skin for my phone. maybe if it were thinner it would break easier, but that would definately be a trade off that I would take inorder to keep my phone rather slim. as well the Hole in the back of the case shouldn't be there if there's no clip provided, and NO I would not recomend this to someone with a WHITE G1, black and bronze only.
