This is a terrific flashlight. In stage 1 the light is very bright. In stage 2 the light is lower. My favorite feature is the Strobe stage. Shining the strobe light at an intruder will certainly confuse them and obstruct their ability to see or get to you. The flashlight can also be attached to the barrel of a gun which is a great feature. LOVE this flashlight!!
