Had to return mine as it wouldn't charge my phone all the time. It would be plugged in, and yet I would have to hold the charger in my phone to get it to charge. And well the purpose of a car charger is to charge your phone you should not have to hold it to get it to charge! In the process of returning and purchased the universal usb car adapter and it works great for my phone and bluetooth!

The charger does exactly as it says; it has a 3ft long retractable cord that fits the motoDroid (and many other phones).
Pros: it is small and compact- it is tad larger than a typical charger, minus a tangley spring cord, which makes it easy to store. The cord locks at whatever lenth it is extended. Press a button on the charger to retract it.
Cons: the cord itself is extremely thin, about the width of an uncooked spaghetti, which makes me nervous of accidentally crimping or tearing it. Also, it seems like a small gauge wire to support the current load.

To sum it up, the retractable charger is a great way to unclutter ones glovebox or center console, but the materials selection doesn't inspire confidence.
