My old car charger to my GPS( Tom Tom) broke while pulling it out of the socket, so I was looking for a replacement and for a car charger that my children can use for their devices. I ordered this one because it has a USB with 1.2V power ( My old charger was 1.2V). Don't buy an under powered charger. It will be slow to charge. It shipped fast and I was able to use it on a road trip. Worked great and charged other devices fast. I can see why the swivel will help. The cigarette lighter that it plugs into could be in a tight place. I was careful plugging it in slowly,felt snug, but a firm slow pull and it is back out. Don't yank it out fast or at an angle-I think that's how my child broke my old Tom Tom charger.

This product is great, I can plug in my ipod or my phone with the USB cords instead of my car chargers that were starting to dwindle in quality. I can plug in my GPS charger and charge 2 things at once now. The bending arm of the charger now stays out of the way of my awkwardly placed cup holder, helps me out a lot. Great product. Thanks HHI!
