We all love screen protectors because they keep the screens of our devices looking brand new. For some odd reason, Apple was reported to be in the process of banning screen protectors from their Apple stores and online stores. Film-only products will be banned from the store and it even includes those cases or accessories that come with a film-product included. This ban includes all screen protectors of all styles (clear, mirror, privacy, and anti-glare) and decorative film-products, such as decal skins. And for you that think, "its ok, this is probably only for those iPhones"; nope supposedly this will be for all Apple products including MacBooks, iPods, iPads, and iMacs. There is still no report of an official statement from Apple for making this move, but i guess if it happens you guys still have HandHelditems.com for screen protectors! Although Nexus One didn't sell as well as anticipated, the Motorola Droid became a big hit, large enough to even outsell the iPhone during a 74 day period. A firm called Flurry crunched in some numbers to see just how many sold within a 74 day period. The Nexus One sold disappointingly low with only 135,000 sold while the iPhone sold 1 million during its first release. More importantly, the Motorola Droid outsold both the iPhone and Nexus One with more...

Watch this guy type on his iPhone! At first I watched this video without sound and I was thinking to myself "this HAS to be sped up." But I watched it again with sound and I was amazed. Supposedly this guy holds the crown for fastest typist on a mobile device (83 wpm), although he doesn't have a video of that one up yet. In this video he hits 81 wpm, and he's done this more than once and even has that last screen shot he took in his own video. He was typing on an iPhone app called iTextSpeed which measures the speed that the user types at. According to him, "...the main reason why you can type so fast is because the accuracy of the phone is amazing, it has a technology integrated called capacitive touch screen as opposed to resistive. Capacitive picks up electric signals feeding through your body; where as resistive it's pressure sensitive." Apparently, he even submitted his speed to Guinness Book of World Records to try make it official. Watch this video of him hitting 81wpm! more...
