Looks nice and my 5G 30 GB Ipod fits snugly. The finish looks like a powdercoat, and is well-applied. You cannot see the grain of the aluminum as I expected (at least on the black model), but it looks very good. My main concern is the clip, which looks well-attached but feels a bit weak. Overall, compared to what you can get locally for $30+, this is a very nice case. Recommended, but 4 stars because it needs a somewhat beefier clip to inspire my confidence that my Ipod won't clatter onto the sidewalk. I'm amazed how good my Ipod looks in this case.
