It is a mediocre case. It is sufficient for the job but it is not a very tight fit. Also, it is not textured on the back so it slides pretty easily. I found the volume and power button parts to exactly match the buttons on my ipod touch. The free screen protector works great and is not one of those cheap kinds, but is actually designed for the ipod touch.
I would suggest a flip leather case instead for better protection and holding of the ipod touch.

Good enough for what it is. I do like the fit and the texture. My screen protector is starting to curl and peel off at the corner, yet again, I didn't apply it quite right in the first place, so I don't plan to count that against it. For the price, definitely a good buy.

Eh...It fits okay. I agree about the buttons the others have said, but my main concerns are the small strip between the screen and the bottom plugins, and the wraparound can easily come off.
The strip between the face and the plugins is VERY thin, and I don't expect it to last long. It can catch on things and gets in the way a bit with the home button.
Also, this is my fault, but I didn't realize that there was no clear plastic to go over the screen. My 1st gen did, and I assumed incorrectly that this one would.
That in itself is not bad, but the silicone wraps around to the edges on the front, and it is easily pulled off. If it had something to connect in front, it wouldn't happen.
Also when I put it in my jeans pocket (yes I know, not a great idea), the case can come off.
NOW, all the whining aside, it is DEFINITELY worth $6.99, and recommended for that price. If it was $30, I would return it. I'm perfectly happy with the quality for the price.

Yes I agree about the places for the outside buttons being off. You have to search for them, but other than that, it does fit the rest of the iPod perfectly. It feels good and light in your hands. I like it.

This fits the second generation ipod touch, and fits it well with one exception: the volume buttons on the side are a little off, so you have to feel around for the actual buttons beneath the silicone skin in order to adjust the volume. It also tends to push the silicone up over the screen a little bit, as though it wasn't a perfect fit... that was really the only time I got that feeling, though. The hold button on the top and all of the corners seem snug.
