This is probably the best screen protector out there.
First, a couple downsides: It says it's "reusable", but I wouldn't count on it. I recently swapped protectors (they were both these, but the first application had a few imperfections I wasn't happy with), and as the old one (maybe close to a year old?) came up, the adhesive back *separated* from the stiff protective layer. Also, it's difficult to get it on right and straight without air bubbles or dust particles (and trust me, you *don't* want dust particles stuck in one spot on the screen!). It took me a couple tries before I got a really good application. You'll want a pair of steady hands and a good eye for straight edges and alignment.
Now, the really, really good parts:
It's anti-glare, 'nuf said. The texture it uses for this slightly blurs the screen, which may take your eyes a day or two to get used to, but the trade-off is well worth it.
It's anti-fingerprint. That's not to say it's 100% smudge-free, but it's 1,000x better at anti-smudging than the default glass, easy to wipe any smudges off (no scrubbing the glass with a cloth until it shines...), and your finger literally *glides* across the surface when you're using it. It's a pleasure to use.
It's scratch resistant. I can't say I've tested this too much, but I have dropped my touch a good number of times and the underlying glass (and the screen protector, too) is still in pristine condition.
This is the *only* screen protector I'll use on my 3G -- if I could give it more stars, I would. Get the 3-pack, it's a bit tricky to get it on right the first time or two without getting a dust particle or air bubble underneath it.
