Exactly what I expected for the price i paid. Good headphones.
  Danny I.  Wednesday 21 July, 2010
They work great for spoken word (phone, radio podcasts etc...) they are just ok for music. for the price, they are great!
  Stephen J.  Monday 19 July, 2010
These work adequately for the price. They only come with a single size rubber earpiece which, unfortunately, doesn't fit me very well, but you do get two spare sets of the single size. The sound quality is mediocre at best, but once again the price is right.

I actually bought four pairs of these after reading the reviews. Initially, I could hardly hear a thing with them. I then figured out there is a specific ear phone for each ear, which is marked L and R. Sound was better then and satisfactory. The microphone and call answer does not work with my Samsung Solstice. I think it might be because I have an adapter to my phone first, then the headphones connect to that.

Horrible sound quality. Sound is fuzzy. Best to be used for hands free in the car not listening to music.

Works well making skype calls on my MacBook Pro, my iPod Touch, and my iPad. The best price I've seen for a combo like this. Nice deal!

Great product for the price! sound quality is pretty good and ive had no problems!
  Walter R.  Friday 21 May, 2010
They work fine. They are inexpensive so I bought several. I dont carry them in my pocket so they dont get hurt. They are easier on the ears than the apple headset that came with the phone.
  Craig K.  Wednesday 05 May, 2010
The audio quality on these is the worst I've ever heard. I threw them away since, for $5, it would have been more of a hassle to return them.

Good product for the money. No problems

I bought this item, and within three days of purchasing it the item broke. The earbud peice fell off. I can still hear out of it, but the phrase, "you get what you paid for" is a great example of this item.

This headset won't please an Audiophile. For the rest of us it's a lot of bang for your buck. Plus, you won't kick yourself if you misplace or lose your headset. Also works GREAT with Skype on my MacBook Pro.

PROS: The built-in microphone and volume/shuttle control work with my iPod Touch.

CONS: The sound quality for music is horrible.

These headphones are very cheap and sound incredibly tinny. It can't be corrected with equalization. These earphones have awful sound quality. The stock iPod headphones are 100x better. They might be OK for voice but I haven't tried that yet.

I wish I saved my $5 to put toward some better headphones.

I ordered 2 sets, one for my husband and one for myself. we both were impressed with the quality for the price. remember that these are only $4.99, not $50 set of earbuds. So we are both happy with our purchase and if cost is a factor these will get the job done!
  Bruce J.  Saturday 23 January, 2010
These headphones broke after two days use because one earbud piece broke into two due to a lack of durable quality. Do not buy these headphones unless you are seeking to waste your money.

This is a middle-of-the-road headset. It fits well in my ears and works great for phone calls with my Motorola Droid. I am not pleased with the audio quality with music, though. I don't know if I got defective ones, but when listening to any music source from my phone, it is almost all bass with little to none of the high range being audible at all. Very uncomfortable to listen to overall, and frustrating because voice calls do not have this muffled, bass-only sound.

At first I thought it was my phone, so I tried other sets of headphones, earbuds and such, and only the HHI sounded muffled and so full of bass.

I will use these sparingly, and probably only when my Bluetooth headphones has a dead battery.

WORKS FOR PHONE CALLS NOT AT ALL FOR MUSIC!!
I was going to purchase these no matter what.
I wanted to use it for skype on my Ipod touch.
For the money (less than 5 bucks).. you'd be hard pressed to find a headset with a mic (3.5mm) connection, w/ in-line mic anywhere near this price range. As far as making calls goes, it works fine without any complaints.
It comes with 2 additional sets of sleeves to fit your ears and is overall good construction. The ear pieces themselves have some heft to it which is nice. These come with unequal length cords (Left longer than other side... to some it's a con, but i prefer this setup)

HOWEVER don't expect to listen to music with these earphones
These are a LOT worse sound quality-wise than even the phones that come with your ipod.
It sounds hollow and unbalanced (left-side is much louder)

Again, I am happy with my purchase because I know what I was getting it for. Don't expect anything out of it except to make calls.

I bought these so I could use microphone enabled apps on my iPod touch (2nd gen) and it works great for this. The mic sounds good and the headphones are good too. The headphones also work in my Mac (1st gen aluminum iMac), but the mic does not (would have been surprised if it did and I don't need it anyway -- there's a built in mic). The earpieces are made of metal, so they sometimes seem cold when you first put 'em in the ear, but not a problem.

Purchased these for use with a Motorola Droid. At this price I was looking mainly for functionality, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound, very good! Have not had a chance to use the microphone yet, but consider this feature an added bonus. This is also the first ear bud type headset that actually stays in place. Overall, an excellent buy.

Great headset - definitely good sound -- but it was under the blackberry 8100 section and DID NOT fit my blackberry. Does fit my ipod.
