I was also fooled by the on line remote picture display and was sorry to see that it was a sticker upon arrival. However, this is the second base unit I have purchased as i like the quality and sturdiness of the product. the FM transmitter works better than most others i have tried, but the Technology itself is lacking (staticy and unstable when traveling in multiple regions). I use the old style tape adapter to play music and use the hands free option. (plug the power in BEFORE you plug in the adapter to the headphone jack or it will not work). Also Make sure you have a clear shot to the top of the unit or the remote will not work.

Love this!!! Works great with my iPod Classic 120 GB. This is a keeper after trying a few other options. This is the best FM transmitter and dock for my iPod.

Works great, the mount is pretty solid.
2 Things:
Don't buy the remote, it shows that it has a display for iPod functions..its a freaking sticker..it will only control the station which is pretty useless.
2nd, and this is the only thing that can be a little frustrating. Make sure that your cigarette lighter is not directly in front of the shifter because it will be in the way. That's how mine is (Kia Sorento 08'). I've managed to adjust the goose neck to the side, but it really works best when its straight up like the picture displays, however like I said its pretty flexible.

The item arrived several days earlier than I expected. I installed it in my truck, and though the instructions are not clear, got it to work. It took several tries to find an FM band to use, but after that it works great. My only problem is that the accessory plug-in is hard to get to from the drivers side. And I have yet to get the remote to do anything but turn it off.
But I would recommend this item to anyone. Have bought about 4 items from HandHeld and haven't had a problem with any.

Product is an ok fm transmitter and is a great dock. The hands free calling option does NOT work as advertised. First hands free only works if you receive a call. What about dialing out? Next... the volume from the call is so low that you can not even hear the person. Also my remote did not work at all upon arrival.
