This is the second volcano lamp that I have purchased. I bought one about 2 years ago and the motor is wearing out. When you turn it on the little balls come poofing out for about 5 seconds, then die down. My son loves this lamp in his room (he's 19) and his friends thinks it cool, so we will set this one up to replace the first one and hope it lasts.
