What's the best way to enjoy a portable music player while on the road? iTrip from Griffin, of course. iTrip wrote the book on FM transmitters for portable players. This version is truly universal, including an FM transmitter that sends audio to any FM receiver for listening over car stereo speakers, and a USB port to charge your player using its own charge/sync cable during use. No batteries required, iTrip gets its power through the 12V cigarette lighter/accessory port.

I have not had the problem with the smoking, but I have not used this product that much. It certainly does what it is supposed to. I like that it is small and easily moved around. It has not been 100% clear, but I live in a very rural area, so radio reception can be funny anyway. It was also a bit hard to preset the stations. However, overall I like it, but will have to use it a bit more to get a better sense. I really purchased it for long road trips during which time I might get tired of flipping through radio stations.
