It features full suspension and a main gun that fires BB pellets up to 25 meters! Excellent value for money and a big improvement on the previous version. A great introduction to large scale radio controlled tanks.

I ordered two 116 Scale Heng Long Tiger I tanks with the upgraded metal drive gear and treads. The gear box is also metal. The tanks also have the Smoke and Sound options.
We received them in 6 days. Pretty quickly considering they were promised in 5-9 days.
We opened them up and both tanks seamed to be in good condition except for some minor damage to the hatch latches on top of the turrets(both tanks). I guess they were broken off during the packaging process. They do not interfere with th operation of the tanks, however.
The tanks look great. Very detailed. They sound great also. We were disappointed that neither smoke generator worked out of the box. We followed the instructions carefully but still no smoke. We know they were on because the smoke pump is very noisy.
On the second battery charge run, my son's tank shed the right front drive sprocket. The screw just undid itself and it fell off! I screwed it back on and on the fifth battery charge run, it happened again. Poor assembly at the factory.
On the other tank, besides the hatch latches and the non op smoke generator, the right track stopped turning on the 5th batt charge run. The tank would make a strange noise but the track would not turn. It sounded like the gears were slipping and grinding. I took the top off and sure enough, a gear in the drive train(metal gear) has a flat spot on it. This tank has been gently driven so this has to be a factory defect. I also noticed on both tanks that the tracks are installed improperly. I've studied photos on the web to verify this and sure enough the track is not straddling the rear most idler wheel properly. It is out of line and probably the cause of the gear stripping out inside the drive box. Again poor quality control during assembly at the factory!
I also noticed that when I took the top off, that the smoke generator box was loose in its mounts and the motor housing was cracked where they tightened the screw. Or should I say over tightened it? The whole smoke generator was held on by only one screw because the assembly tech used screws that were too long and snapped the other two mounting screw holes right off the smoke gen box because they were driven in too deep. Silly stuff for such a cool model.
I would hesitate to buy another or recommend this to others until the quality control is improved. There are many write ups of similar nature all over the web.
