I bought this a week ago because I have a jvc camcorder and I needed a firewire to transfer my video from the camcorder to my computer. It took about a week to receive it in the mail and I installed it in my desktop tower and then hooked up my camcorder. I was able to transfer my video from my camcorder to my computer very easily. I highly recommend this product to anyone because the price is right, you get the card with 3 ports and the cord to connect your camcorder and its easy to install basically plug n play.
