These earphones are great-better than the earbuds that came with my iPhone.

I'm sorry, I just really did not like these at all. First of all they are uncomfortable in my ear. Maybe I have small ears? I don't know. Also, they were packaged in such a way that one of the earbud covers tore just removing them from the packaging. I wasn't being rough at all, although I will admit I was a little frustrated, since it was taking me about 5 minutes just to disentangle everything from the packaging. I didn't want to damage anything, and then riiiiiiip. Luckily there were spare covers, but who wants to use up one spare just getting the item out of the packaging?
The sound quality was awful, both for listening to music and in talking to others. The person on the other end of the line said the call sounded tinny.
I was willing to put up with all of the above in exchange for the very cheap price point. But the final straw came when using them with an iPhone, they plug your ears so you cannot hear yourself talking. So when you're on the phone with someone, you have to speak so that you cannot hear your own voice. Otherwise you are yelling. No good.
I can't find anything nice to say about them. Well, I guess they are cheap. But if they make everything worse and don't really work, who cares? |

I had tried a pair of earphones from another vendor that had a microphone. First one had sound but the mic was bad. They sent a replacement but the mic didn\'t work either. The second unit had a bad wire into one of the earphones. I just wanted to try out the recorder function on my new iPod Touch 2nd gen. I saw the HHI and decided to try again. The iSolate Vibe mic worked fine. The audio quality of the earphones is not super but they do work.

Average overall. Sound quality is "tinny". When using the microphone during a call, mixed response on clarity and quality of voice. I'm going back to using the apple supplied earphones!

Again these are a gift but I have 5 pair for myself. I love these headphones. I have purchased 3 Apple head set and they self destruct where the rubber is affixed to the headphone. I HIGHLY recommend these as a much better headphone. Sound quality is equal to or better than the Apple OEM and the price, well in Apples race to the bank they really haven't figured out how to make a durable. decent reasonably price headset. Then with all of their prices why is that not surprising?

I don't know how anyone could give these headphones a good review. Their sound is far inferior to the cheap ear buds that come with most mp3 players. Their shape does seem to agree with my ear more, however, so they got that going for them, but that is about it. Given the chance to go back in time, I would not have purchased these ear phones, even at the price I paid ($7.86 including shipping).

Sound is very good. Haven't tried them in a phone conversation, yet, but the audio response as "headphones" is first rate.

The earphones are great for the price, but I find them not to fit well into my ears.

I ordered several of these and am sending them back. The sound quality is horrible! Not even worth the $8!!!

For the price you get a very nice product. Yes, the sound is a little un-balanced, but its a little sacrafice for use at the gym. As use for a phone it is crystal clear from both the caller and reciever end.

They feel great in the ear and secure the sound. Sound quality isn't that great out of the right ear bud, the left works like a champ!

I got them, they are GREAT! Best deal I have ever found. I am getting ready to order several more for gifts and in different colors for myself. 12 out of 10.
Great service shipping was very fast, packaging was excellent. |

The sound quality on these phones is poor- no lows, no highs, very thin and mid-range heavy- sounds far away somehow, even though they're in-ear phones. It's enough of a problem that even spoken word is hard to understand. The wire is very thin and fragile feeling as well. I guess you get what you pay for.

Also. I don't have any wire problem like last review said. Maybe he just got a bad unit.

These are Great! The earphone comes with nice package and with spare silicone ear buds. The earphone have really good hearing and talking quality. I also use it for my Skype as well. Just bought another one, so I can use on my both Skype and iPhone 3G. Get it and it is worth it for the price.

I'm using this with the iPhone 3G. It worked ok for the first couple of days, but now, if you accidentally jiggle the wire to much, the playback would stop or start as if you pressed the button. Basically it makes it unusable unless you are sitting really still. The sound quality isn't all that great either; my $10 over the ear Phillips earbuds sound better! The only good thing is the sound isolation, which works decent.

Basically the points outlined in the description are correct. But notice nothing really said about sound quality. It's barely acceptable. For speech it's adequate, but for music listening I'd rather listen to the built-in speaker, almost. You can adjust your eq setting to make it tolerable. But if you think you can pay $12.99 and get quality you're mistaken. But very few low-priced headphones do a decent job. Nothing in the class of, say, the Etymotics, better Shures, or some others. But you get what you're paying for, IMHO.
Please, I might be critical of the 'phones, but this is a decent deal on a set of replacement headphones for your iPhone. They work, seem reasonably made for the price point, and delivery was quick.
At $60 I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot headphone adapter, at $13, well, you'd still be better off with paying more money. But for the non-critical music listener, or non-music listener, I guess you can do worse.

I just bought my second pair of these. Really a great sounding product, just the right length of cord and a nice little clip to attach to my shirt or jacket. I'm using with a 1st generation iPhone and the product is a real bargain. Very comfortable, very good sound and with the in-line clicker it performs all the functions of the earphones that came with the iPhone. Recommeded.

These ear buds are Extremely comfortable and very inexpensive. Unfortunately they arrived with what appears to be a short in the wiring or one of the connectors somewhere so that my iPhone 3G constantly pauses itself while these earbuds are plugged in (the apple default generic ones do not pause the audio when the wires move). Moving the wire around does seem to un-pause the audio, but I would prefer to use earbuds that aren't constantly stopping and starting what I am listening to just because I am moving around.

Great buy for the money! They are very, very comfortable and make a really secure seal in the ear for great sound. The tips are soft and stay put once placed in the ear. Nothing like the hard plastic "ear buds" that came with my 3G iphone. The ear buds are uncomfortable and have to be jammed into the ear canal to get decent sound where they promptly pop out. I took a chance for the $12.99 price and won big time.
