I must say I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of this gear. Granted, it's very cheap for lighting gear....but, it's better than I expected for the price. I used it immediately on a photo shoot with a model and I liked the results and can't wait to use it again. I will say that the lights are not THAT bright...they will not overpower natural light. So, I still have to give them a try in a darker setting...but, I expect they will be really nice side lights and back-lights in conjunction with my off-camera flash. Worth the $80 for sure if you're just needing something basic to get going and to practice with. Eventually, upgrading will be necessary...but, for now, I am very pleased!

Not bad overall, we will buy more in the future.
Good for entry to mid level still and product DIGITAL photography.
Good points:
Compact for storage when not in use
Fairly sturdy
Nice height range
Good wattage daylight CFLs for digital imaging
Long cordage
Bad points:
Assembly directions suck (none)
Light umbrella shaft should be 6" longer
Base could be wider.

I received it in great condition, i got it sooner than i thought, perfect for my home studio, as an amateur profesional photographer i would have to rate this 5 stars, its easy to set up and very practical, the only thing that i didnt like was that it had a loose/broken bulb, but i got the replacement inmediately and perfectly wrapped in perfect condition, i would highly recommend this product, very reliable, im happy with it.
